Stroke of Love
THE CONCEPT
In the realm where technology meets matters of the heart, Stroke of Love emerges as a unique platform dedicated to uniting stroke survivors and their loved ones. The brainchild of Leslie Yanke, inspired by her journey as a primary caregiver to her ex-husband, Ed Yanke, who suffered a stroke, Stroke of Love is not just a dating platform but a beacon of understanding, care, and love.
THE PROBLEM
As Leslie faced the profound challenges of caring for Ed after his stroke, she recognized a significant gap in resources and support for those touched by this life-altering event. Many stroke survivors and their caregivers found themselves on a solitary journey, desperately seeking connections with others who understood their unique experiences.
THE SOLUTION
Our mission was clear: to help Leslie realize her vision of Stroke of Love as a comprehensive platform, offering far more than just dating. We set out to create a brand identity that would embody the values of understanding, care, and compassion that this platform represents.
OUR APPROACH
Building a Brand for Connection
Our approach involved not only crafting a distinctive brand identity for Stroke of Love but also seamlessly integrating it into a user-friendly website that would serve as the dating platform and community hub. This approach encompassed the following:
Thorough Brand Development: We conducted extensive research to understand the unique needs and desires of the stroke survivor community. This insight informed the creation of a brand identity that resonated with empathy and inclusivity.
Visual Identity: We worked closely with designers to develop a visual identity that conveyed the platform's caring and compassionate essence while ensuring a user-friendly experience.
Website Creation: We set up a dynamic website that incorporated the brand's identity and functionality, providing a secure space for stroke survivors to connect, share stories, access resources, and explore meaningful relationships.
Messaging and Storytelling: We crafted messaging that emphasized the platform's commitment to fostering inclusivity, compassion, and love in various forms, including friendship and romance.
